Good evening! A little news. Here is the article I was waiting to show you, the interview with Kate for LouLou Magazine on the occasion of its 5th anniversary.
To summarize, she talks about her impressions of the show she gave in Toronto, amazing and fun. She added that she loved to wear the clothes that he was giving. Then the question was felt Kate playing before a small intimate crowd. She says she loves playing to large audiences but the intimate moments are his favorites. Then we talk about her look. She says she prefers the vintage look, dresses, with accessories and boots. But that as she likes to change her look and dress as a part of his personality, his feelings, his desires. Finally, the reporter asked how she would define her personal style. Kate says that her style is quite eclectic (ie broad, diverse and varied). She likes to mix clothes that are not necessarily all, wear several colors. She adds that she has a pair of leopard Brian Atwood boots that go great with jeans and a black top color tights with a cold or funky dress! She especially loves to create a contrast so she wears a skirt for example girly with something heavy or sweeten with boyfriend jeans and a studded jacket adapted to operate the clothes together.

A new video was just released yesterday on account Youtube Official Kate. She talks about her role as an author in his songs, how she can write them, etc.. She says it is moving to write songs. She talks about her favorite songwriters, Patty Griffin & Carole King. Then she talks about the writing process. She says her process is sporadic (ie it occurs in an irregular way), that his ideas come to him suddenly in his daily life and in any location (school, home, etc..). She said that the writing process is fascinating because it forces us to think oneself to write a story.

Hello! A new video diary appeared on his myspace ! This is Kate talks about her passion for painting, she began to have before writing songs! She learned to paint from his father. She loves to paint for hours and it is for her a kind of loophole. His painting inspired by his songs and vice versa. When she no longer inspired to paint, she plays guitar. She cites her favorite painters, Paul Cezanne, Claude Monet, she thinks they are incredible impressionist!
